Fillings
Fillings
Fillings stop bacteria from eating holes in your teeth. Dr. Hendricks does fillings that match your tooth color. It is important to get your teeth filled as soon as possible so that the hole does not grow, eating away at the tooth and creating more expense and pain for patients. The solution is to get fillings, because they cannot go away on their own.
Prevention
Reducing the amount of processed sugar and simple carbohydrates that turn into sugar in your saliva. Eating foods that are naturally sweet, such as sweet potatoes, sweet corn, and other foods, in the place of processed foods that contain sugar or flour is great prevention for cavities.
It is also very important to brush your teeth. Ideally, you should brush your teeth three times a day for two minutes each, and floss once a day.
